The Riherds Scoreboard has closed
Riherds.com carried Kentucky high school scores for nearly three decades. It shut down on 30 June 2026. If you came here looking for it, here is what happened and where the scores are now.
What it was
Frank Riherd published the KHSAA scoreboard database from the late 1990s until the summer of 2026 — schedules, scores and results for Kentucky high school sports, in one place, for nearly thirty years. For most of that time it was simply where you went. Coaches phoned results in, reporters filed from it, and a generation of Kentucky parents had it bookmarked.
He announced his retirement in June 2026. The KHSAA chose not to buy the software, and the site entered the archives on 30 June.
Where Kentucky scores are now
This site. Every KHSAA school, every sport, updated as coaches and fans report finals. Free, no account, nothing to install — the same idea, run by somebody else who missed it.
The official replacement
The KHSAA has partnered with ArbiterSports, and schedules, scores and rosters are moving to ArbiterLive.com from the 2026–27 school year. That is the association's own system and worth knowing about — this site is independent and has no connection to the KHSAA.
Is this site the same thing?
No, and it would be poor manners to pretend otherwise. This is a different site, built by a different person, with no link to Frank Riherd or to the KHSAA. What it shares is the purpose: one page where you can find out whether your school won, without an app, a login or a subscription.
Can I still report a score?
Yes, and that is the part that makes any scoreboard work. Every school in Kentucky has a permanent reporting code, and a coach, statistician or parent with that code can post a final in about ten seconds. Report a score, or email matt@kyhssports.com from a school address for your school's code.
Thank you, Frank. Twenty-nine years of typing in other people's scores, for a state that mostly took it for granted. Every site that tries this now is working from what you showed was worth doing.
This page exists because people are still searching for Riherds. It is informational, and “Riherds” is used here to refer to the site that closed. Kentucky Football Scoreboard is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a continuation of Riherds.com, the KHSAA or ArbiterSports.
